Usually one or at most two blossoms at a time appear on this plant but planting in a rich substrate in a large pot together with a Crinum hybrid has given this result - there are ten on the plant all open at once. Rich compost for the climbing species seems to suit them best and so far so good but come the cold, dark days of Winter things might be different with the plant rotting instead of growing. I have a spare plant growing in an open, sandy compost in case the worse happens.
