Archeologic excavations came late, when large portion of aprox. 1800 graves was destroyed by close stone quarry. This place is on the top of the hill, so people bearing coffin must have walked here by long and very steep journey. The oldest graves come from the 8th century, the latest come from 13th century. People were buried in coffins, some with golden jewelery, buttons from silver or beautifuly made spurs, proving that in 8th century this was the fortress of local tycoon.

Unfortunately, there you can realise, how this civilisation hs no respect to those who died. People must have walked here long and steep journey to bury their closiest, although they could do it more easily down at the river. It was something like the last service to the dead. Also it was known as "cemetery" for centuries, but graves were untouched, although they contained golden and silver jewelery as it was discovered in 60ยด. These days, business comes with machines, destroys evertyhing around, takes out rubbish along the road which i leading up here. Day by day they take more and more from the hill, which in old times was a sacral place. At the moment, just half of the former hill has still remained. If you are up there, you see Last and Present, which have nothing common.
