I did not ask him Bathgate, as he was asleep I just took the photo and moved on. I am a bit of a coward in those situations. Lol,,

No H/B, it was just a red rope, but good thinking. I had a yap with that man further on in the photo . Being nosey I asked him if he had caught any fish and I asked him was he from Jersey. He said he was born in jersey and his father came to Jersey in 1959 from a small town in west Cork in Ireland. I told I used to go there for many years with my family on summer holidays to the same town his father was from. It is a small world. He offered me some of the lovely mackerel he caught, wasn't that awful decent of him
