These are not astra flowers? You shocked me, Melchi! How do you know these are daisies?

Uf, relief! I immediately checked Google and I found Michaelmas Daisies do belong to Astra genus. Hahaha.
I thought I had some unknown invader in the garden.
And why is it called Michaelmas Daisies, do you know?
4 Oct, 2014
They flower in Autumn. Michaelmas is the old name for the feast of St Michael and all the Angels, on September 29. The first term of the academic year is called the Michaelmas term at the older universities. (The January term is called Hilary and the Summer term, Trinity.) Hence Michaelmas Daisies!
