Seedling Apricot candy

I love the color so much....I've replanted it in my favourite daylily bed...in the front yard. The bloom size is 6,8 inches and it is 18 inches tall and is VERY fragrant, the bud count of this one is about 8 thus far. The petal substance is light which causes it to becomes droopy in the late afternoon.

I know what you mean about the colour - you get one that is just slightly off and then you fall in love with that shade. I used to think that bud counts of 15 - 20 were needed; but looking at the new releases by the Trimmers. they have several new ones this year with bud counts of only 12. But you get several scapes at once and it doesn't matter.
