I rescued this about 7 years ago from someone who was throwing it out. It was in a small pot, and was no more than a few branches and the odd leaf. I re-potted it and pruned it hard. It flourished. Every year I dry the leaves for using in cooking over the winter.

i love bay trees, mine has been up rooted and moved at least three times in the garden and its still going strong, you did right saving it
