Euonymus alatus 'Compactus' - 2014 (Euonymus alatus)

For most of the year, you wouldn't give this shrub a second glance. But in autumn, the foliage turns a fiery red. Mine is just starting to colour up. It is 12 years old, and still only about five feet tall. Plant in full sun for the best colour.

Bought this shrub a couple of months ago, mostly for the autumn colour and the very unusual branches....(it was not Compactus though!)
