Daylillies blooming in the rain..

I'm not a Daylilly expert,but these bloom all year. Is that different?

My only Dayllies was decades ago. The whole plant died down to the ground in winter. These bloom and bloom as road dividers.

They are too tall to be Stella D'Oro, I think. Stella D'Oro is the only variety that I know that is ever blooming. (then again, I'm not an expert) They bloomed in my Canadian garden from May to November! The lilies in this pic look like an old variety that I've always called Lemon Lilies....do they have the lily scent? ...thing is, the lemon lilies only bloom in early summer (here) so perhaps in California they bloom all year?
