"Empress of India" I love the contrast of this variety. Gives me a break from the Nasturtium which is a Fairbanks favorite in all gardens galore.

Everything this year is showing a little cold damage. I ad a year a few back that frosted my empress in june. I was so sad. This year it just sopping wet. Flood levels as high as the '67 floods! She's a real fulfilling variety.

Very nice...and the leaves are quite lovely...I thought it was the common northern "blight" ....cold winds! Some of my plants would turn quite red with the cold..but it only took a nice warm afternoon to bring them back.
