"Snowstorm"

This is a photo from a so-called snowstorm that paralyzed Georgia for days last January. We got three inches. Yes, three inches shut down the entire state. It took me 11 hours to drive 35 miles home from work. Work was cancelled for 2 days after that (as a transplanted northeasterner, I was the only one able to make it in). Traffic was bumper to bumper. It was awful. I was running out of gas, I had to pee, I had no food except for a jar of peanut butter, there were accidents all over the place. I've never been so happy to get home.

sounds just like here..only takes couple of inches and we grind to a halt...

not in the south. Up north there are plows and salt and sand, but here there's no money allotted for all that. There's a possibility of some snow next week and I will NOT be going to work that day!
