Adonis amurensis - 2015

Small woodlander for moist, humus rich, acid soil in shade. Eventually getting to a foot across and similar height, this may not flower in its first year after planting, but should then settle down to an annual display in late winter/early spring.

Shirley - this has struggled a bit this year as the weather turned very cold when it tried to open its first flowers. An occupational hazard with the early bloomers I'm afraid.
