Bud on Thelocactus bicolor

that's a bud, can we see when it is open

I've got one of these. The flowers are beautiful :o)

This just arrived last week. It had a flower already, but it of course was crushed during shipping from Nevada to here. But I'm very excited to have another bud!!! I will naturally be posting pics as soon as it flowers.

I bought it as a Thelocactus, but they all start to look the same after a while.....

No. It's Thelocactus ... a different genus altogether, and much smaller than Ferocactus.
