What are you going to grow under the area you are warming with fleece Sd ?

Sd I was watching a programme on TV where they put a fence of what looked like fleece just over 2ft high all round the perimeter of the carrots they said the carrot fly couldn't fly any lower than 2ft so therefore would keep it off ! we haven't tried that one yet ! we put a netting cage over the cabbages and they still managed to get in Grrrr.....
