Not usually DD, but I did shape it a bit last year.

Ok I need to keep ours at a manageable size, so will tidy it after flowering?

Andrew's rule of pruning - if it flowers before the end of June, prune as the flowers fade; if it flowers after June, prune in early spring.

I have heard of this but never seen it in the flesh. it looks stunning.
