Dandelion

It's such a pity they are classed as weeds,Paul,as they are pretty flowers..I've never seen as many here,as I have this year.Some of the flower beds in town and verges are full of them .At a distance,they look like beds of Daffodils..

I admire their brilliant yellow, but need to be diligent at keeping them under control. However, they are entirely edible. So if you are ever lost out in the boonies Sandra, you can eat these for sustenance.
