Yes we did. We got the cut off wood from the man who sells it for wood burners , v reasonable price too. That plus the bark total cost under £80! We just need to top up the bark as it degrades.

The bark is lovely for paths and so nice to walk on. I use bark for my paths. When it degrades I add it to the compost bins and it makes fantastic compost for alpines. If I leave it too long seeds self sow in to it. The cut branches are a great idea for the edges as I can see you have the flexibility to make any kind of shape using them. I like that very much.
