Yes, the color seems to intensify as it matures. These are going on 3 weeks now. I think it's because they are planted in the ground as opposed to pots - the roots run deep with plenty of moisture. The engine is in the yard. I thought it time for change. Do you like the coreopsis?

I think I've lost my Coreopsis..I'm not hopeful,but I'll leave it a while yet..

Thanks Sandra. Sorry to hear about your coreopsis. I find the least I do for them, the better they perform. I let them freely reseed themselves and pull out the ones in growing in the wrong places.

I noticed a little bit of growth around the base yesterday,but it could be a weed ..I'm not going to investigate further,till I'm sure..:o)

Well they do die down completely over winter and emerge as tiny plants that look like spoons.
