Seems happy enough in the front planting bed. Maxes out at 4 feet. A semi-evergreen, leaves turn crimson in winter.

I do not know why I thought that you are in zone 5-6. In zone 7 you can grow lots of "exotic" plants :=).

Yes, we can grow a broad range of different things. The earth is so rich and fertile too. I really love the conifers - spruce - junipers - cypress. :)
