Brian - yes, it was a chance seedling at the Holden Clough Nursery, found nearly 40 years ago. It is a chrysographes x pseudacorus cross, preferring moist soil and shade from the hottest sun. I've had it for about five years now, and it's a bit overdue for dividing.

attractive not seen it before, probably originated at the Holden clough nursery, is it a form of an American species? looks a bit like the Douglas species
