I put it there for fun, did not expect it to be full of baby blue tits and adult blue tits, three flew out of it yesterday. I am very excited.

I found a dead wagtail in the border yesterday....Labrador damage I think. So this week she's had a Vole, a mouse and a bird. The Terrier has never caught a thing! Sorry, spoiling your lovely photo with my dead things Michaella! Oh, and we also had three dead chicks in the guttering and we can't figure out where on earth they came from..we don't have Cuckoos up here so they must have fallen from a nest somewhere in the roof, but no idea where! Sorry, sorry! Hope your little bluetits succeed where my sparrows etc have sadly failed. :(

Happy to report that the box is empty, am feeling very lonely, I enjoyed listening to their nonstop noise. But it was awesome to watch them fly out one by one. Barbara, as I do not have a pet, it was so nice to know those were happy to live so close to us, happy and free, that's how I like it.
Sad to hear about your baby birds Karen...that's nature for you. :(

Our box is still being fed furiously and they are still chittering at us when we sit outside their nestbox but are beginning to get used to us now. Hope they do not fledge today it is so cold.

Brilliant so nice when they use the nest boxes, I am being shouted at by a pair of blue tits nesting in a box near my table - they are so funny.
