Cottagekaren recently posted a blog about here search for this plant. As you may not have come across it, here is a photo of it. The flower is nothing to write home about, but the foliage is its selling point.

Siris - I paid a visit to Crug Farm Nursery three years ago. Although this plant was not on my shopping list (the photos on their website don't do it justice), as soon as I saw it, it jumped into my basket.

The 'it' plant for spring at the moment! Not that I wanted to buy one, but sold out at the nursery I visited in the New Forest.
