Spiderwort (Tradescantia)

Is this an invasive weed or a hardy ground cover? That depends on whose garden it's in. Nothing seems to bother it. The name comes from its medicinal properties and ability to treat spider bites.

hum interesting. I have a blue one in my garden on this side of my house where not much grows. The bees and butterflies are all over it.
