Nope, they're concrete, check back to my early photos and you can see them before the oregano went crazy.

Yes, they fill in completely. Frustrates the meter reader who doesn't like walking to the second stairs. What are you doing up at this time of the morning??

Yes now that I've seen the earlier photo I remember.
I must have thought it was wood because you called it an "oregano staircase".
I know your question about the time was for Irish but when I wrote the first comment it was about 11 pm here , so what was it with you ?

I am 8 hours behind you all on the other side of the pond so when Irish replied at 9:30pm my time I was wondering. My mother and husband agree that saying staircase was misleading so I changed the photo's title.
