I grew it in my first garden but it got massive, and its a nightmare to prune (hairs on it stick in your skin and clothes) so it had to go. If I had a big wall I'd grow it again. Its lovely.

It certainly is difficult to prune being so hairy, but it loves being where it is planted, which makes a change for our plants....

The first time I ever saw this was in Oliveoil's garden. I didn't think it would grow up here, but boy, did it grow!
