Hi Mum, I just found Lupin seeds that will come true (species) and they are very cottagey. Lupin Avalane (Red and White) only 20" tall (Hardy Annual) and Lupin Lupin Hartwegii Pixie Delight aka Lupinus polyphyllus which is also dwarf and shades of blue. This one is perennial, and looks like the wild lupins we saw a couple of years ago at Ballater. I have ordered a pack of each. If I can get them to germinate, I'll bring some down for you!

Plants of distinction also have some of the bigger lupins which they advertise seed of, so some must come true. But no Masterpiece sadly. Worth a look online now you have your greenhouse up and running.

I love the way this will scramble through trees - it adds such a lot.
