Bought thirty plus years ago from Chappell's nursery in the New Forrest, Unfortunately I can no longer recall the name.There would be a copper label on it somewhere within the 7/8 ft of height.

I took one today Brian, but it looked a bit gloomy. The bronze foliage needs a little sun to light it up, and the buds are too tight still. In a few days I'll put it on for you :) It is a sport of 'Pink Pearl'.

Its a very unusual and beautiful colour Brian! My favourite is my 'Ebony Pearl'. It is just starting to show colour now.
