Coreopsis: A wild prairie flower, also known as 'Tickseed.' No two blooms are exactly alike. Blooms continuously only stopped by a killing frost.

They are biennials so all you get are leaves the first year. I've pulled many up myself because they reseed prolifically.

It looks like a plant I've pulled up which has grown from bird seed !
