Thank you Karen. Earlier in the year planted at least thirty bare root roses, I am so excited to see them blooming already.

I've planted a few too. The one I am most excited to see is called 'Night Owl'. It has very dark purple, almost black flowers with yellow anthers and a nice perfume. And i bought the lovely 'Boscobel' which I fell for last year at Chelsea. And 'The Poet's Wife' a lovely yellow one that jumped out of the DA catalogue at me. These are my 'new to me' additions along with 'Jaqueline du Pre'. Its very exciting isn't it!

I have hundreds Karen, I have asked the children to count them for me, many times over, even offering to pay them, they still say no, too many. I started counting in one flower bed, I got to 70 something, and there were still many in that same bed, I gave up too. I really would love to know how many I have though. Don't know if I ever will.

I shall Google those roses, I do not have any of them. Thanks Karen.
