Round one is Salix

Yes Klahanie it is and I got willow also. I have very waterlogged clay soil . I read that Salix can grow well and absorbed water so I have load in my garden, standered and bushes.

Shahida, We have the same problem with our soil. Wet all the time in certain spot. I planted a Weeping Pussy Willow (Salix Caprea Pendula) and it looked good until deer discovered it. I am learning what deer like and dislike and he loves willows.

That Salix is a triumph Shahida! You must keep it well trimmed!
