Wild Rose

We've found a lovely wild rose growing through our front hedge - Saw it in flower for the first time only yesterday! May well have to cut it back though, as it's growing down over the hedge towards the Lane (of which must be at least a 10 foot drop). The Rose could be a bit dangerous and blow into the path of a passerby, as we don't have a pavement we have to keep the hedge clear.

I feel as if I'm being attacked by a hungry beast every time I walk past this thing. It's got claws and teeth and tears at me and my cloths, but it looks nice.

It's hard to believe that something that can be quite wicked is also very beautiful... ;o)
