Cercis canadensis "Forest Pansy" bush or shrub specimen as it was in 2011. Its even bigger now but has lost branches through a scale insect infestation which was unchecked for a season. NOTE: the standard tree in 2011 to the left of the picture. 35mm diameter trunk approximately. Now in 2015 its around 100mm diameter! Not as slow growing as the growers label suggested!

I also love this tree. Had a nice specimen in the pot for two years and then planted it in full sun by the forest, It did not like it there and died. Forest Pansy is my favorite tree but I do not know if I will replace it. They are quite finicky about their spot (as I read).
I have a little write up on it here.
