clematis 002 AA

That is beautiful. Do you remember giving me C. Bijou. I thought I had lost it and left the pot aside. I hate losing precious plants. I never did see it in flower. I was looking for pots to pot on stuff yesterday and found a very much alive and kicking C. Bijou. She is not flowering yet but I am so grateful she has sprung back in to life.

Sheila have found since growing Bijou that snails chew the outer cover of the stems (Bark) near ground level and while they shoot again it wrecks the years growth ,have found the leaves and buds just turn brown and die off.

Well lets hope I take better care of it this time. It just goes to show you should never give up on a plant until you are dead certain it has died.
