I've got some massive greenfly on my Lupins, not a one on the roses...so far, phew!

You are very lucky Julia. The leaves on my rose bushes look like snowflakes. :O

Do you spray at all Paul?

I try to avoid chemicals to save the bees and butterflies, but maybe I need to try something.

Lol,Julia..love your reply to Amy ..:o) Try a Garlic spray,Paul..it won't kill them but they hate the smell,and disappear..We can buy a commercial one here,but you can make your own.Someone on Goy did post a blog on the proportions of Garlic to water,when you dilute it to put in your own spray bottle..maybe you could google it..and if you stick garlic cloves in the soil around Lilies,you shouldn't get the red lily Beetle..best done early in the season...and Julia..Joe Maiden does this..:o)

If you can buy it,Paul it will save you waiting to make your own ,it can be used for all manner of gardening problems,and.it's a natural remedy that goes back many years..good luck..:o)

Joe does what Bloomer,snaps off the dead ones or plants garlic? I'm getting awfully confused and it doesn't take much these days lol!
