This was grown to compliment Rosa Pauls Scarlet, unfortunately Paul has decided not to give us any more flowers this year!!

I have also the purple C, etoile violette, actually several cause it roots so easily. Polish Spirit, I think has gappier sepals.

Yes, Polish Spirit is easy to ID up close. Its a really reliable performer....except here, where it doesn't want to grow at all! I think I planted it too close to the apple tree.

Perhaps we could have a close up of one of the flowers. I think I have this, but the label has long since disintegrated. Mine is on my ( did we decide it was New Dawn or Albertine) rose..
