Thladiantha dubia - 2015

This scrambling relative of the cucumber grows from tubers which readily increase. I've only ever seen this plant in two gardens - at Great Dixter and Mount Usher in Ireland. I planted it in the hope it would climb into a hibiscus, but the position is very dry and although the tubers are increasing, this is the first flower - five years after planting.
