I first saw this plant at Hunting Brook Garden in Ireland three years ago. It was flourishing in the moist climate there but has struggled in the dry conditions over here since being planted in May. I hope it will do better in a 'normal' summer. Grows up to six feet in sun or shade but needs a moist soil.
