No, I put large bouquets at all staircases, it doesn´t matter, that flowers drop down by time, when you walk on it, it smells nicely. I use the latest flowers, which already faded, but they naturally dried. These have the strongest smell. I found, that those, which I pick up early, at the beginning of the season and then harvest them and dry look a bit better, but they do not have that nice strong scent as those which dried directly in the flower bed.
I am currently ill and I made a tea from sage, it is wonderful. I put honey in it.

Sorry to hear you are ill - I hope you'll be feeling better soon.
I always have a vase of dried lavender in my porch. It smells lovely. I leave it to dry on the plant, too.

Do you use lavender for sachets, Katarina? My grandmother always made lavender sachets. She dried the lavender on newspaper spread out on the spare bedroom floor, then sewed little bags made of pink or mauve fabric. I always intend to make them, but often never get round to it ...
