Yes Bjs it was grown from seed by our pal. I had hoped by showing it I would find out who else is growing it and find out more about it. There is not a huge amount on the web but I did find photos on an Italian website showing it growing from between slabs of rock. It seems to have yellow flowers. Sorry Linda I'm not Scotkat. I will leave it on now it has attracted comments and will update it next year to show its progress. It is a tiny precious bundle of sunshine.

SG-You are right with yellow.These flowered very early here and as very small plants.This one may well have been one that flowered.Brian would have got one the previous Autumn,but would have been very small so may not have survived.
Being as small as they are,somewhere where it wont get smothered would be best.

Pcw is this a suitable candidate for my tufa rocks. I have not used them yet.

Yes.I have Drabas in tufa and they are fine.Your saxifrges should do well also.Pulsatillas,if your lumps are not too small.

Thank you Pcw. I don't think I would plant the pulsatillas, they seem to be romping away on the raised bed I think they might swamp a box. I managed to get some photos yesterday. I will post later as the sun is shining and I need to take advantage of some good weather. It poured buckets yesterday. The stonemasons turned up and had to go away again as it was too dangerous to go on the roof.
