My mother used to make jam from these. I cut mine and put it in the vase

These would look nice in an Autumn arrangement. It's also used for medicine.

Lots of vitamin C in them (riches source of all the plants)Sometimes I can see tea cubes in stores. In eastern Europe they made a liquor (palinka )out of rose hips.

You're right HB, but I understand the practice was stopped when it became known how much extra sugar had been added. I loved the taste too.
