Sanguisorbas are perennials growing from rhizomes. They are found in the nothern hemisphere, mostly growing in grasslands. Different species range in height from two to six feet

any problems with this plant ? i just buy it .......will it spread fast? is clay and not much sun ok for it?

It forms a clump but does not run. I have found the odd seedling not only one or two. It is a prairie plant so really prefers a sunny spot so I'm not sure how well it will do in shade
