The first time these irises bloomed in the 4 years I had them, after transferring them to a sunnier location late Spring.

Tricky aren't they. I can never tell why some bloom and others don't. This is not what I was expecting at all. Full Tide is a nice medium blue, this one is marbled. Why this happens I will never know.

I think its a lovely soft colour and marble effect. As of trick if the light the best time to get a good photo for colour is as dusk is comingcoming

Yes, Bathg, I was expecting to see a blue self. I have Peach Jam, a rebloomer, with marbled flowers, not that I have seen it flower yet at all!

The marbled effect is quite interesting with the yellow highlights.

It does look prettier than the self. I wonder if it is actually, what it is supposed to be?

It's suppose to a medium blue - no marbling. It' looks more like a splatter painting but I like that too.

See what it looks like, if you get a spring flowering.

OK do you think it might be more blue in the spring?

No, not really. They don't change colour, just intensity of colour.

Not as blue as some of the pics I have seen of Full tide, trick of the light? My Immortality is still flowering another rhizome of it has buds. Interesting your saying that Full tide flowered after moving, I did the same with Immortality and Hey Presto! but I also moved another 2 varieties of rebloomers, at the same time, but no flowers.
