I love that tree. Do you know which "blue Spruce" is it Stan?

I don't know. Usually the blue plants are Atlas Cedars or Colorado Blue Spruce- and there was one very blue CBS in that park..behind the palms. A wild contrast.
The one in the picture could be a blue Sitka. Im going to have to check the google.

It looks like Blue Atlas Cedar Stan. Sitka is not so blue is it?

The one sold as a Colorado Blue Spruce are usually dense with foliage. And behind some palms there was one about 3'. It didn't really resemble the one I posted.
It would be nice if they labeled those plants Klahanie, but I understand- its across the street from a high school and there is no fencing or gates in the evenings..its just a park. Labels would probably end up in the pond knowing what kids will do.
If you think its an Atlas Cedar, then Im sure that it is.

Don't you think the combo of temperate trees and shrubs that turn color and the abundance of palms really works visually? I would have guessed that was a big mistake 5 years ago. I would have been wrong.

Ok,Stan. I do agree with you and I will plant a palm tree among ours Douglas firs and Western cedars next spring.
Next to the Japanese maple :-)
