Watermelon seller

Gosh don't they look good,I wonder why they don't get covered in ants or flies !

I do not about ants and flies Amy, but definitely covered with dust and fumes. I hope people buy only whole ones. They set up only for the weekend as people from the big city come to the lake.

I imagine they would buy a whole one Klahanie ,the stall holder is making it look tempting for the buyer ...

I am pretty sure that is the case Amy but you never know....local kids are pretty tough here they can eat worse than this.

I wonder what the planting cycle is? For those or Tomatoes or corn -all of the lot..When its warm all year are you constantly having seeds coming along?
I only wish to live there and find out...

I do not know Stan as we spend only few months in winter but I know the corn is harvested only once a year.
They burn the fields in the late spring before the rains come and plant new. You do not want to be here in that time. There are lots of corn fields around. Smoke in the air for a long time.
