It's a liner that is covered with very fine stones ☺️

It looks very good, do you mean the liner comes with the stone stuck on it or did you glue them on?

It comes with it stuck on it; it has to go over the top of the main liner :)

Does it have a commercial name, bought from a water garden specialist? Sorry to keep picking your brain, Dan. Your ideas are interesting and enhance you pond area.

Thankyou! And I bought it from my local watergarden centre. There it's just called 'gravel liner.' These are two online places that sell it http://www.pondkeeper.co.uk/stone-faced-pond-liner.asp?gclid=CP7L-tOkkcsCFcE_Gwod7Z8GmQ

Ive found it easier to install/ fit in when the pond water is lower than the level the gravel liner will be when it's fitted. This is so that when the pond gradually fills, the water pushes it flat against the pond wall, it's good for creating little beaches etc and of course for hiding the plain black liner, especially for when the water evaporates in the summer :)

Thank you Dan for the info, have added to favourites so I can look at later.
