It's pre bought. They are made exclusively for our local watergarden centre, the people who live next door have the same one but in a wider version :)

Very realistic, unlike my plastic cascade, on which the moss won't grow, but Mr Blackbird likes to bathe in it.

Thankyou! I sometimes have to remove some of the moss because the birds pick it off and then it ends up in the water :)

I use any spare moss to put on top of my Orchid pots.

I usually put it on rockery stones :)

But I don't want it in the grass.

We have that problem of it growing in the grass. The rockery sedum and campanula have taken a hold too in the grass. We aren't too bothered at the moment because the grass is very patchy :)

Sounds like you are creating a dry grassland!

Between the dog, and the grass being constantly stepped on its just worn very thin. It does get fed regularly and watered in the hot weather, but with the house being extended and garden layout changing we're contemplating removing some, if not all of the lawn, and having lots of borders with small paths around them :)

The dog will like more bone burying places.

He would! He's very old (15) he just goes outside to do what he needs to do, then he likes to scratch the lawn up and bring it all through the house :)

I do like your waterfall, is it a pre-bought stone structure or did you construct it yourself? Really natural looking, with the moss growing on it.
