Watercress.

I planted this watercress between the joint in the gravel liner to help the pond as an added vegetable filter, I also have this growing in the moving water on my waterfall.. on there it has tripled in size in just four weeks.

Thankyou!! It is edible but I've never tried it aha! Fs great for filtration and surface cover when nothing else is growing :)

Watercress is very beneficial for health, with a peppery flavour. I am going to buy some and grow it in my pond, but I believe it prefers running water and I don't run my cascade that often, although the pump is solar powered.
Ps, my OH won't eat it, but he's not too keen on greens, Men!!!

Haha! To be fair I have some In the stream but this bit is in still water and it's still doing fine, it'll really take off in the summer when it's a lot warmer :)
