It seems to be not such a dense leaved Camellia as some I have seen, flowers are beautiful.

I agree it is more spread out.
Squirrel has damaged some buds again they bite a piece out of them and and drop them on the floor

I think this is the same as ours, never had a label, the flowers are so high up, so it's difficult to get a good shot.....

this one is fairly high 8/9ft but has plenty of lower branches seems to respond to me using them as cut flowers.

Didn't know squirrels were partial to a bite of Camellia.

Don't start me off on them what they don't eat they destroy
We have an owl nesting in a owl trust box at the bottom of the garden it needs round the clock surveillance to keep squirrels out, fortunately that job falls to my neighbour as he asked for it to be put up,they raised a single chick in 2014 but they tore the nest to pieces last year and tried to move in.

The little blighters.......never noticed them eating the buds, but I will keep a look out now, our Camellia is about 8-9 tall, going to prune it down to about 7 ft as it is making the garden too dark, apparently they respond to a drastic prune?
