Flooded patio by the house..

Because the garden is on a slight slope it all drains towards the house/ the location the conservatory is to be sited.. We've planned drainage etc for when the work starts but today the garden is just slushy..

We do! We actually had the builder round yesterday to see it like that, it shouldn't be too bad as the conservatory will be 1 foot higher than that to match the house floor level and we will be digging into the slope so will have some sort of drainage in place.

That sounds better , put lots of gravel round the outside to help it soak away when you've finished ...

That's exactly what we're going to do, completely undecided whether we'll be removing most of the lawn for gravel too ( a lot more planting areas too )
