Gymnospermium albertii - 2016

Another little mountain dweller, only a few inches tall, growing from a small tuber. I saw this growing in Kazakhstan, and although it likes sun, it always had its roots tucked under a rock to keep them cool.

It's another little plant in my raised bulb bed which is now getting very full!

I would imagine it is, at least they are safe in a raised bed, you can keep an eye on them and their progress.
