Coming from woodland edges, this little bulb likes a free-draining soil with sunlight in the spring and light shade in the summer.

DD - I research them before buying them, then plant them in the garden according to what they need. Impulse buys are always the most difficult to place.

I am far too wooly to do that, I buy first then look it up, and as you say difficult to position, but I get there in the end......sometimes!!
